Christmas does come but once a year, but for us it never truly leaves!
We were overwhelmed by the testimonials and feedback we received last year and were simply buzzing to get planning for 2022. Luckily for us, Santa has chosen to return for this coming Christmas but as always, he expects something spectacular to be created for his gorgeous grotto home.
Back in February we headed to the The Spring Fair at the NEC in Birmingham where we got to discover halls full of Christmas paraphernalia ready to inspire and delight us. A new vision has filled my head all year, so I knew exactly what I was looking for! This year there will be a focus on our origin story, answering the question …
“Why does Santa Claus choose to host his grotto at the Little Things barn?”.
We got asked this a few times last year by my daughter’s friends and other ‘Little Things’ regulars. We happily divulged our magical history and we thought it was too special not to share with you all.
So this year, we have created a whimsical story book to tell the tale! The beautifully illustrated book includes ALL the magic that you could wish for at Christmas including the introduction of some special characters, including Fairy Effie (who some of you may have seen a photo of on Santa’s mantle piece). As you enter the grotto you’ll see elements from the story book come to life, whilst many a surprise will also delight you! Our book will be available to order at time of booking so that you can enjoy the tale before your visit.
For the first time we’ve created two booking options for you to choose from for 2022…
‘The Comet’ is our traditional offering. Including all the magic you’ve come to know and love, yet with optional extras to choose from.
But new for this year is our VIP option, ‘The Blitzen’.
Our VIP’s will be able to visit in the final magical days leading up to Christmas. Santa and his helpers will be here right up until the 22nd of December before they need to fly back to the North Pole!
Also to spread the Christmas joy throughout the month a special parcel will be sent to you from Santa HQ in November. Within your parcel you will discover “Elf on The Shelf: A Christmas Tradition”. These scout elves have been chosen by Santa and sent directly from the North Pole. They will share their very own Christmas story with you, whilst also delivering our very own magical story book, PLUS your grotto invitation from Santa! What a way to bring childhood magic to life!
